Terms of Service

1. The service

Breaking Canvas is an interior design tool that generates photorealistic room designs from a selected room type and design style. We operate the website at breakingcanvas.com and all related API endpoints. The service is provided as-is. We may update, restrict, or discontinue features at any time.

2. Accounts

You may sign in with Google or a verified email address. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. We normalize email addresses to prevent duplicate accounts — one inbox means one account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the free tier or violate these terms.

3. Credits and payments

Credits are the in-app currency used to generate designs. New accounts receive a small number of free credits to try the service. Additional credits are purchased in one-time packs — there is no subscription.

• Standard generation costs 1 credit and produces 1 design.
• Pro generation costs 4 credits and produces 1 high-resolution design.
• Credit packs are non-refundable once purchased. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.
• We reserve the right to adjust credit pack pricing or included credits. Existing unspent credits are not affected by price changes.

Payments are processed by DodoPayments. All prices shown are tax-inclusive. We do not store your card details.

4. Your content and generated designs

If you upload a room photo, you confirm you have the right to do so. You retain ownership of your original photos. Original uploads are deleted from our servers within 1 hour — see our Privacy Policy for full details.

Designs generated using your credits are yours to use for personal, non-commercial purposes — including planning renovations, sharing with contractors, or posting on social media with credit to Breaking Canvas. Commercial use (selling designs, client deliverables, print-for-profit) requires written permission from us.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or automate the service at scale without permission.
• Use the service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
• Create multiple accounts to claim free credits more than once.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Resell or sublicense access to the service.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Breaking Canvas is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated designs will meet your expectations. AI-generated images are creative outputs — not architectural drawings or professional design advice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Breaking Canvas and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim arose.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
